The McKay Girls

A couple weeks ago I got to take some holiday pictures for one of my favorite families. And let me tell you something, it is easy to take beautiful pictures of beautiful girls. These girls are so sweet and fun to be around. I am so lucky to get to babysit them and to take a few photos here and there.

Christmas Kitty

The tree is up, the decorations are scattered around, and our kitty is loving it. Who has the most Christmas spirit at our home?  My vote is Chuck.

Every year Chuck is very happy when the holiday rolls around. He finds a home in the tree, plants himself in the middle of the garland, and loves to play with the tinsel. When I see this fluffy kitten showing off his Christmas spirit it brings me joy. I hope it brings you some too, enjoy!

Garrison Hocker

Over the summer I got to go to Estes Park with the Hocker family. It it such a beautiful place and it gave me a great opportunity to take some senior pictures for Garrison. Shortly after we got back from Colorado it was almost football season. And because Garrison has played football for so many years we thought that the field would be a perfect place to take some more pictures. Thanks Garrison!

Chase Glass

Chase and my brother Jake were best friends for years growing up and our families became very close. A few years ago Chase and his family moved to Grand Rapids. It's a bummer having them farther away, but we still manage to see each other. When we do get together we have lots of fun, just like when we ventured out to take these pictures. We started at a park, moved to the Kentwood High School, and ended in downtown Grand Rapids. It has been great watching Chase grow up over the years... I can't believe he is graduating soon. Thanks Chase!

Trikenight

Eighteen years ago the STAP advertising agency donated two tricycles from a photo shoot to a non-profit organization serving at-risk families. Since then every holiday season the company purchases tricycles by the hundreds and employees get together to assemble them. This happening has become known as  Trikenight. After assembling the little red trikes they are donated to charities around Southwest Michigan. STAP has donated nearly 4,000 tricycles throughout the years.

Today, I stopped into the office to put together a trike and take some pictures. Happy December!
